Ruptured large hepatocellular carcinoma is a difficult situation to manage and can have a bad outcome if not managed appropriately. Bland embolization can help in the initial stage and then due to the large size of HCC usually in ruptured tumors, transarterial chemoembolization followed by portal vein embolization would give a good future liver remnant hypertrophy, and then a surgical resection may be feasible.

Do have a look at this case and hope it helps in planning similar patients in the future.
