As has been told in the first video of this series by Dr. Gunjan Desai, "BEWARE OR BE AWARE". If you missed this video, check it out in this playlist - Cancer awareness series and Patient talks.

This cancer awareness series video focuses on stomach cancer and esophageal cancer. It begins with the fundamental points of location and function of the esophagus and stomach which is followed by risk factors or causes for esophageal cancer and stomach cancer such as Chronic gastritis and Barrett's esophagitis as well as alcohol and dietary factors.

After this, we discuss the stomach cancer symptoms and signs as well as esophageal cancer symptoms and this is followed by actions that can be taken to prevent this cancer or detect it at an early stage. If you know the symptoms and signs of the stomach and esophageal, you can meet the doctor earlier and this can help in detecting the disease early.

This is the fourth video in this digestive system cancer awareness series and gives a detailed yet simplified idea about the basics of esophageal and stomach cancer prevention as well as early detection by selective screening.

To give an overview of the cancer awareness series, On world cancer day, we have come up with a total of 6 videos in this Patient talk series to enlighten you all on why cancer occurs in a particular digestive system organ, the risk factors of cancer, the symptoms, and signs of cancer, as well as the measures that you can take to identify it early leading to EARLY DETECTION, as well as the lifestyle measures for PREVENTION.

This is an awareness and educational series for each and every person who wants to be in charge of their health. SO, do share with each and every person that you know, as it can benefit one and all.
